I firmly believe that conflict can be a creative power. I have my master's degree from Lipscomb University in Conflict Management. During my studies, I became listed with the Tennessee Supreme Court as a Rule 31 Mediator with listings in Civil, Family, and Domestic Violence Mediation. My bachelor's degree is from Utah Valley University in Behavioral Science.
I have worked most of my professional career in child welfare, prevention, and private education. With my background in human behavior and a master's in conflict management, I have a unique perspective on working with individuals who have experienced trauma or are currently walking a difficult path. This includes all of us at one time or another!
I was born into a family with six brothers and sisters so you could say I was born into the field of conflict! I also have five kids of my own. Four of them are currently teenagers who live under my roof. I don't just study conflict, I live in it daily! I have some unique perspectives and bring a whole communication toolbox to your unique situation.
